What are rail rollers used for?

Dymax Rail Rollers are used for laying rail in mass transit or freight applications. Rollers are designed using high strength steels and are available in standard angle iron frame or in a smooth street roller frame group. Width of the roller is 8 inches and works with most rail sizes. Rail Roller stands are available upon request.

Standard Rail Roller

Available with 18 or 30” span the Standard Rail Roller features a 8 inch roller width and twin pillow block bearings for smooth rolling of rail up to ¼ mile length.

Street-Style Rail Roller

Street Style Rail Rollers feature low profile frame specifically designed for working on concrete or smooth surface operations. Street Roller models are made to order.

  • 10” width across lower frame for placement on flat surfaces
