The Dymax Rail Rider WX4S is a wheeled excavator hi-rail system built around the stability and performance of 4-stabilizer excavators. This railgear mechanically adapts to the host machine without cutting, welding, or modifying.

Adding rail capability doesn’t cost you anything on the wheel side — the excavator works the way it always has when the railgear comes off.

SHIPPING DIMENSIONS
Shipping dimensions vary by machine model and configuration. WX railgear equipped with rail clamps may increase overall machine length to approximately 265 in (6.7 m). Transport width varies based on machine size and stabilizer arrangement. Contact DymaxRail for application-specific dimensions.

The WX uses the wheel excavator’s rubber tires for rail propulsion. Available with super single tire packages on select models for increased rail contact, improved traction, and extended service life. 
Wheel excavators offer fast road mobility, reduced transport requirements, and excellent visibility while maintaining the ability to perform a wide range of railway maintenance and construction tasks. 
Yes. The system is optimized for 4-stabilizer wheel excavators but is also available for select blade-equipped machine configurations. Please contact DymaxRail for information pertaining to blade-equipped models.
