Low Profile Rail Cart Improves Tunnel Access for Maintenance Crews

DYMAXRAIL CUSTOMER STORY

How Sound Transit Streamlines Tunnel Maintenance

Rail maintenance inside tunnels comes with one major constraint—space. To get equipment where it’s needed, Sound Transit uses a Dymax Low Profile Machinery Cart.

This cart features integrated side ramps for unloading man-baskets and aerial lifts directly onto tunnel platforms. A steering tow hitch and off-track wheels add versatility, allowing the cart to be moved off the tracks without a crane.

Built for tight spaces, trusted in the field.

Sound Transit’s success shows what the right tool can do in the right environment.
