Dymax Rail Tie Inserters

DymaxRail Tie Inserters can change wood and concrete ties in minutes and can be used with backhoe loaders and excavators. Quickly change 20 to 50 ties per hour, and in some cases more, depending on the machine and operator performance. Dymax Rail Tie Inserters are built for years of productive use and service, and improve efficiency in tie changeouts.

Powerful Grip and Performance:

All DymaxRail Tie Inserters come with heavy duty hydraulic cylinders that provide superior gripping power. DymaxRail Tie Inserters feature dual pivoting jaws and 360 degree rotation systems or can be adapted to fit tiltrotator coupler systems. Models are provided with a set of replaceable wood tie pads with carbide protection. Optional urethane pads are available for concrete tie handling applications. Whale Fin Blade Attachment:

DymaxRail Tie Inserters feature optional bolt on whale fin for working from high railed position on bridge decks or in congested worksites. Operators can blade ballast and insert ties in congested worksite conditions. Whale fin can be removed when not in use.

Ballast Rake Attachment:

Optional ballast rake attachment features a single spear point for breaking up old ties. High strength ballast rake allows operators to crib material during railtie changeouts. Ballast Rake can be removed when not in use.

Hydraulic Requirements

DymaxRail Tie Inserters for construction machinery require multi-circuit hydraulics. For machines outfitted with only 1 tool circuit please note that it must be capable of two-way oil flow/control for open and close of the hydraulic squeeze cylinder. If you require a diverter valve kit to operate your rotation system please contact Dymaxrail sales. We can offer and price a standard electro-hydraulic diverter valve kit to power the rotation function.
