Streamline tunnel, bridge, and urban rail work with this 2-way, bolt-on railgear for compact excavators. Driven by rubber track rail guides, this hi-rail attachment allows quick and easy repositioning—no turnarounds needed. Available for Cat, Deere, and Komatsu.
HOW IT WORKS
The low-profile railgear mounts directly to the OEM non-angling blade, with pin-on front and rear axle assemblies. It raises and lowers hydraulically and locks with manual pins. Operates through standard blade lift circuit.
- Work On or Off Track: Gear raises up high enough that you can crawl on and off easily on the blade side. The gear on the back could be unpinned if needed.
- Avoid Derailment: For added safety, the optional roller clamp system can help prevent derailment during overside work. Manually operated with tensioner supplied.
- No Machine Modifications: Installs in 2-3 days with zero structural changes, preserving resale value.
- Flexible for Different Jobs: Once installed, the gear can be removed in about an hour in the shop or field.
- Available for 5-6T Excavators including Cat, Deere, Komatsu, with standard non-angling blades.
