As the world evolves, the need for expansive railway machinery capable of doing more than one specific job will be at all time highs. Using conventional semi-trucks, operators can tow the Dymax RailTrax on federal highways moving from job to job.
The innovative railway vehicle features hydrostatic-powered tracks providing road-ready access and easily moves up to 3 miles per hour on roadways. If you need to access the rails then simply drive to the nearest crossing and climb on. In less than 2 minutes you’re ready to drive to remote railway stations, tunnels, bridges and worksites delivering materials or hauling specialized equipment such as aerial lifts, cement and aggregate solutions or trash vacuum attachments for collection of tunnel trash around 3rd rails.

Go from the highway to the railway in minutes. Easily drive on roadways using DymaxRail’s powered track systems to move the RailTrax where needed. Once on rail operators can quickly speed to remote destinations.
MODULAR DESIGN:
The Dymax RailTrax is more flexible and can be adapted to a variety of applications. Pull wire in catenary applications or tow railcars, haul backhoe loaders, track panels, pipe, transmission poles, containers or simply create your own machine to do the job you need done.
